Andy Roddicks comeback tour? We think so. It’s so Hollywood and he has new Hollywood agents. Some of the best public relations people in the business are planning a new strategy for 20/13.
Andy, Andy, Andy. You are so loved. But we know it hurt not being the number one American. We know each loss to Roger stung more every time.
We know your wife getting the cover of Sports Illustrated first bothered you. Did you get it? Hang in there man. The money is good. The game needs you. The competition is strong. Fun rivalries. It’s still the second “Golden Age “ of tennis. If Lactose comes back as your sponsor please wear lots of pretty colors every season. If you still miss Ken Meyerson then play for him! He would kick you in your rear end and say okay. Play. Play. Play till you are old and gray. ($$$$$ And lots of that under the mattress)
We’ve just finished the office Christmas party. Everyone is excited. Especially the team headed for Australia. But for real there’s lots of talk around about James Blake, Mardy Fish, and Andy Roddick. Somehow we all agreed all those guys still have plenty of great tennis in them. Tommy Haas is fit and playing great. Same with Roger Federer, Same with Xavier Malisse and Max Mirnyi and most of the dubs guys ……so it’s Old guys rules….. So……………….. ” No new balls yet.” Please.
