This was a tennis tournament…. Like no other. This was a U.S. Open like no other.. Let’s start with new logo. It’s click art like ours? But we aren’t the USTA. What did that cost? It’s kinda Blah. Still better than Australia’s upside down V. Ok.

Where would one begin? Ticket prices? That’s always good. Too expensive. ️Maybe better name is The “U.S. Corporate Closed.” No more little booths. Just $$$ everywhere you go. Best news was free Qualies and free events in New York City.

Worst news. Ugh. So many daily. Shameful seriously. Like this was a circus and clowns were everywhere and where was the Little car they came out of? Did not know circus was in town. Common sense took a holiday? So so many mistakes and sloppy decision making. And rules that had rules or no rules or new rules.

Or poor SERENA with crowd sounds.. She ️maybe didn’t even hear the violations.

Or Fernando VERDASCO didn’t have a coach visit in the shower. Or John Millman stops a match at 2-2. He Just walks off to change clothes. He is literally soaking wet and isn’t a guy who sweats much? But he just walks off.

Supervisors. Why are you there? To have the best seat in the house? Do your JOBS!

Can we say “sauna tennis?” Maybe it should be a new sport. Like a triathlon – Or team sport play- play in heats. Take an ice bath. Play more? Get soaked in a minutes but suffer for 39 sloshing in your shoes which each weigh a ton soaking wet.

It’s like cardio tennis. But it wreaks havoc on your whole body. Does a player need to go into cardiac arrest or die to win the U.S. Open? When will this nonsense stop? How did it start? 20 minutes breaks… What can you do in 2o minutes everyone could have used a break! Every set!

How did the USTA build a stadium that’s a sauna? No moving air? Why? Who signed off on that brilliant plan? Wow AUSTRALIA can build 3 beautiful stadiums that are great and the USTA totally fumbled? And worse the “fans” to cool off the players they put courtside were minuscule. The other day I made Alejandro laugh out loud. When I said they wouldn’t cool off a fly.

And player after another player after another player looking like they had just jumped in a swimming pool. That “sauna” like..

Ok. Big big big problem today in the finals of a major. Would have been Serena’s 24th slam. The chair umpire behaved like a total wuss. And it was uncalled for. And he should be doing junior matches or challengers or no futures.

Naomi Osaka was brilliant. She deserved to win. She should not have “Mr. No Common Sense” in the chair assist her.

The match was awesome and intense. He screwed up the championships.

Now SERENA. Well I must say. She had her “Mandela Moment” • She rised above it. She showed us all what a true champion she is. We applaud her on so many levels. She saved the stadium from going from boos and a possible riot. to calming down. There could have been ️Things thrown and instead SERENA helped in every way try to turn it into a celebration for Naomi Osaka.

Bravo SERENA. You really were everything in Kiplings “IF” poem today. You’ve met with triumph and disaster and treated both imposters the same.

And bravo both ladies for answering the questions on court as they wished versus. The announcer staged questions. Bravo to you both. SERENA you are the GOAT. We hope you see 24 or more. Naomi. This is the first of many. Bravo ladies. You both rose above all the craziness that you encountered.

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
