Queens Club. Yes. It’s the best year yet. 10sballs.com got credentialed and a desk too. Thank you Sharko, David, Hilary and dear Charlotte wherever you are hiding….

Sorry to hear Barry MacKay passed away. What a truly swell guy. Tennis lost a dear friend. Great news that Nick Bollettieri is out of the hospital with his recent bout of pneumonia. Get well fast Nick. I think they released him a day early because he was distracting everyone at the hospital. Between his mail and the phone calls and Nick being Nick they had to let him out early. Get well wishes !!!! Speedy ones!!!

Big boss has been feeling crummy lately… June gloom?

Back to Queens. It’s a great venue for a great event. As private clubs go this one is on the top of the list as “special”. It’s got a great atmosphere. It’s nestled away in a nook in the middle of London. Getting a taxi from there? Difficult at best. On a Friday. Impossible. Tom Nash has been doing a great job all week. Not quite sure what they are feeding him…. He said they had good “sarnies” maybe after some Coronas that’s how a Brit refers to a sandwich?

Back past Queens… Back to the French. I’m so glad I stayed. It was AmazeBalls all the way from the first ball to the last. The best part. The doubles with the Bryan brothers against Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor. I love Bob and Mike. But Max is family. This year he turns 35 and Daniel turns 40. Great they won back to back French and great that they are number one in the world. Great for MAX the BEAST that his daddy Nicolai was there to enjoy the victory. Happy fathers day to you all. Nic is one of the best tennis daddies ever. Max too!

The next best thing about this years French? All the possibilities of record breakers… The Tsonga tsennis. The Nole tennis… Fighting back from match points down…. Maria playing like a fierce warrior…. Rafa breaking Borgs record…. who ever thought that could happen… It was all just almost too much to take in…, Excitement and history filled the air…. Roger played some great tennis. Rogis last day he had that bothered look…. At 2-2 in the 1st set I called his loss. I even had the scores right enough that I had his total games won as 19 which was right. Yikes. Did the twins keep him up? Should he have taken the day before off? He looked out of sorts…. Mirka you burn the toast again?

Queens club. Ok. So we are here with Max Mirnyi. Xavier played some great tennis this week and lost a heartbreaker to David Nalbandian.

Pancho.  Happy graduation!!!! You are the best administrative assistant in the world!!!!

Everyone at 10sballs.com applauds you! We’ve been celebrating for you! The entire staff wishes you well.

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
