Mirka Federer. Also known as Mrs. Roger Federer. Yep part lll. The readers are asking for more. The followers are coming in droves from all corners of the globe. What am I going on about. Roger Federer is the greatest tennis player ever and his group keeps it all calm around him. That’s part of the job description. To help cheer him up after a major loss. Or loss in a major. Either way. It stinks and you go into a funk. Every player deals differently but they all feel the pain. The great champions most of all. They all feel the pressure … Roger said never underestimate the pressure…..

Rogers loss to RAFA was so painful. It’s hard to explain the inner pain RF is feeling right now. To be so close… yet so far…. To be so close you can taste it….To get to play Rafael your great rival in a slam… to get rest as a 30 year old with a walkover .

Little things rattled Roger from the start. The coin toss RAFA won and elected to receive. Roger chose to switch on the other side?

Little things and big things. The Australia day fireworks display that lasted 15 minutes, ten or twenty. Roger came back distracted. He lost the next seven games? Nope 11 consecutive points…. I don’t know. (I’m so sleep deprived from watching TV all night )

Later Roger said things like. ” I haven’t lost a match in five months or something you know ? ” … ” It’s not that bad…. Don’t feel too sorry for me…. obviously I would have loved to come thru” …. ” What’s important is the reaction from now , you know ….. Where do I go from here?” … Roger also said it was easier after losing to just be able to walk off the court . (semis) versus a finals that you’ve lost and still need to stay on court and deal with your emotions while 15,000 people are in crowd and the world is watching on TV. He said. I prefer to walk off this way than having to go through the trophy ceremony after losing ” …

It’s not because RF is a bad sport. It’s because he gave his best. He gave all he could muster up and still came up short. Poor Rogi … We love you win or lose.

This now gets to his family. His team. They all feel the same way. It’s their jobs to cheer him up. Point out the positives…. Take his mind off of it…That’s also the twins job.

The trainer. . It his job to massage and stretch the aching sore body. To treat the pains.

The coaches. Paul and Severin. They need To emphasize the positives and work on their drills. Roger lacks confidence. The Federer on his big roll said. Who is going to beat me ? Who can take 2o odd points away from me ? ……

Mirka’s job…. Love him. Feed him well… Create a peaceful environment that Roger can sleep and rest in harmony. Get him distracted and to the ocean and a beach and playing with the girls. To tell RF how great he played. How it is a pity to come so close. But there will be other matches and chances and opportunities.

Mirka’s job. To keep Roger happy and relaxed and positive.

Mirka’s job is to remind RF how he literally ripped a backhand that was turbo charged. It was the fastest bullet type shot anyone has ever seen!!!!….. He literally connected and timed the shot PERFECTLY.

Mirka’s job is to run the three ring global traveling road show with her usual grace and style. After all she is a Federer. The mother of the twins.
