Late Night at Indian Wells | 
It was another amazing day of tennis at the Indian wells tennis gardens. Big Boss is actually still here….Hard to believe you can show up on “site” at 8 am and still be here at 10 at night… Still watching Sam Querrey play Fernando Verdaso. Verdasco is wearing a really wild Adidas outfit. The shorts are lime green and the shirt is a watermelon color with a design and green trim… Match is in progress will update…
It really was another great day at the BNP Paribas Open. Every year we can hardly wait to see the new styles at the Bolle booth. We love the shades they sell. With the strong desert sun the polarized lenses are super. Scott and his staff can help you pick out the latest style .Go by the booth if you’re on the grounds…
10sballs.com ran into lots of old friends today. We saw Rick Leach. He coaches Leander Paes and also teaches at the Newport Beach Tennis Club. Rick was one of the best doubles players ever. He had a great sense of angles on the court and had great hands around the net. On top of that he is one of the nicest guys in tennis. The Bryan Brothers always looked up to him….
In the lunchroom today we saw Roger Federer relaxing and playing cards with his buddies. They were waiting for their doubles match. It was Rog and Stan Warwinka, RF’s physio, and Peter Lundgren. Afterwards we saw their prematch routines of stretching and Stan was doing all sorts of leg lifts. They saved a heap of match points and beat the French team of Benneteau and Gasquet.
Caroline Wozniaki won. Soderling lost. Sharapova won .Nadal won. Safina won…..X man lost. He had a battle with Devarmen. Donald young lost to Tommy Robedo….Great efforts by all.
Match update. Sam won the first set 7-5. We can tell this is going to be a late night and it’s a great match. So excuse us for signing off…..
