The team is awesome, all fighters and the kind of team that can make magic happen. There’s Liezel Huber, and Bethanie Mattek-Sands who make a first rate dubs team. Bethanie can play top ten singles if she believes! Melanie Oudin is a believer, and so is the great young Coco Vandeweghe. Go team USA!
Still thinking about Vijay honoring Jimmy Connors. I know the weather was shaky but Wayne Ferreira and Todd Martin both played. Jimmy is Mr. Tennis! Who played with more guts and gusto.? What a great long career! Brett Connors, what a great guy. He works with the Tennis Channel and is admired by all for a multitude of reasons. Great to have the big guy back and great to have the kid around.
Almost missed saying goodbye to Elena Dementieva and her great tennis mother. Elena announced at Doha that she was retiring. She will be remembered as a great champion. She will also be remembered for some yips in her serve (I suffer the same affliction). She should be remembered for overcoming it. Also note she had one of the best return of serves in the game. Thanks for all the great matches . 
I’m saving the best for last. Standing ovation, bravo to BNP Paribas. As if Indian Wells wasn’t already one of the worlds best events, they will now have Hawkeye on eight match courts!!! Wow!!! Great for fans and players and linesman.
