Kei Nishikori saved five match points before outlasting Gael Monfils 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(3) in a semifinal thriller at the Miami Open on Thursday afternoon.

Order was restored to the Miami Open on Sunday, when scorching conditions relinquished at least a small part of their grip on Crandon Park Tennis center.
With the loss of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal to illness at this year's Miami Open perhaps next year they should give out flu shots in the locker room before the tournament starts.
