Somehow we all knew the day would come. But it still seems weird. Max was such a constant on the tennis tour and in our lives. How did we meet? ️Maybe he remembers.
The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
It wasn't a wet WIMBLEDON. But it was a wet U.S. summer. You had rain, humidity, oh yeah and floods. It was crazy the week of D.C. the week of Atlanta, Cincy.
In just a few hours the United States tennis open begins at Flushing Meadow in Corona Park at the BILLIE Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing New York. Wow. Sure loved the simplicity of the "Westside Tennis Club" it's proper name or Forest Hills.
We just rounded the corner. Rest day. No play On MIDDLE SUNDAY. (unless rain had washed out week one) What a week. Where should we start. This year's Championships was like no other.

We All Woke up to the news that the Mercedes was in for a tune up. The ROLEX needed a service. Ok. Plain English.
