Spending the day with a maybe ” Lucky Loser ” and a real first round loser. There will be 64 real first round losers. All mad. All disappointed. All 128 players that enter think they will win Wimbledon. Every player takes every loss differently. How Rafael Nadal will take a” deja vu all over again” of a first round loss ? Badly , no ? For real his knee is a factor. But for real so is Roger Federer and his back. There are issues there. ( sorry Deb)
Here’s a photo of Pancho sitting and playing cards ( usually monopoly) with Ruben Bemelmans ( the hopeful LL) and Xavier Malisse a first round loser and an unidentified coach. We also have to give the photo credit to our dear Sven Groeneveld.

Pancho and I are having the best time. Wimbledon is the most amazing venue in the world. It’s more than the surrounding which are amazing. The Pimms are great. The strawberries and cream Are great. . The Dutchee stand is works famous. It’s A breakfast sausage in the shape of a big link like a hot dog fried and served in a fresh baguette. My mouth is watering and I already ate one today. ok. Yes. We are eating away( and our way ) across London. Lots of our favorite Indian food.
The day had lots of surprises. For 10sballs.com we were sorry to see the X Man lose to Fernando Verdasco. He beat him here last year and went deep in the draw. Oh darn. For Ruben he won two rounds in the qualies and lost in the last round of that. So that makes him a candidate to fill in if someone pulls out before the first round is played. He slips in. Get it. Lucky loser. So basically Ruben gets to the site first thing every morning to be ready in a moments notice to jump on a court. He stays all day and just waits. So to our buddy the XMan we say sorry. To Rubens we wish and hope you get in. And to Pancho now I know what you mean by tied up in a meeting. Me? I’m back in Harrods. Why not ? And Deb you may think that the clay looks beautiful. But Pancho and I say the grass is magnificent and almost takes your breath away it’s so beautiful. It actually does take Panchos breath away. He is so allergic to all that grass .. Maybe Debs got something about the clay. ? No ?
