I’ve been a little quiet the last couple of weeks trying to get my papers in order and my taxes filed. Well I managed to get it done a whole day early (but it just about killed me.) I’ve been dying to put up some comments about a couple of things that have become apparent the last couple of weeks. There’s some good news and then there is some bad news.

Let’s start with the good news. It’s still not apparent for the world how significant this development is, but for men’s professional tennis in the USA, we have begun a new age, The Isner Era. World Team Tennis–Facts and Figures

The 37th season of the WTT Pro League runs July 9-28, and concludes with the WTT Finals Weekend, September 14-16, at the Family Circle Tennis Center in Charleston, S.C. The eight coed professional tennis teams in the WTT Pro League presented by GEICO are battling for a spot in the Finals during the 2012 regular season which runs July 9-28. The top two teams from the regular season in both the Western and Eastern Conference will advance to the WTT Conference Championships in Charleston, with one Conference Championship match on Friday, September 14 (6:30pm ET), and another on Saturday, September 15 (6:30pm ET). The Conference Champions face off for the King Trophy, named after League co-founder Billie Jean King, in the WTT Finals presented by GEICO on Sunday, September 16 at 3:30pm ET. [Read More]

Svens Blog – Caroline Wozniacki, Miami, Amsterdam

Miami turned out to be a very busy tournament with the distribution and having Caroline reach the semi finals I was spending most of my time between practice courts and courtside watching the matches.

I had one day off in 6 weeks because when I came back to Amsterdam I had several meetings on working on a new project with the city of Amsterdam and team meetings with Adidas plus I spend time with the Academy players and coach’s. [Read More]
