World class tennis talent takes to the court on Day 1 at The Boodles

 

The Boodles 2017 kicks off in sparkling form on Tuesday 27 June with a host of international talent taking to the stunning Stadium Court at Stoke Park Country Club, Hotel and Spa.

 

Former top 10 ranked Frenchman Gilles Simon will take on Australia’s Thanasi Kokkinakis, one of a crop of exciting young players at The Boodles this year.

 

Another Frenchman, the striking Benoit Paire will follow up in a scintillating match-up with eighteen-year-old Denis Shapovalov, the reigning Wimbledon junior Champion who made his mark at Queens last week.

 

British Davis Cup hero James Ward will bring some British flavour to the court taking on Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff in the fourth match up of day.

 

The Boodles – Tuesday 27 June

12:30 – To be announced

14:30 – Gilles Simon (FRA) v Thanasi Kokkinakis (AUS)

Followed by – Benoit Paire (FRA) v Denis Shapovalov (CAN)

Followed by – (not before 17:00) – Jan-Lennard Struff GER) v James Ward (GBR)
