It looked very hopeful to finish a full day of scheduled matches, but all matches were officially suspended at 6:45pm

The grass becomes so slippery when wet – the ball girl nearly crashed into Aljaz Bedene earlier in the day – watch it here. Spectators not minding their step and after having small or big sips of Pimms and Champagne all day are starting to slip getting to their seats. Yet, amazingly I have not seen one person drop their drink…

Tomic vs Verdasco was the last match to completely finish before the rain stopped play. The crowd favorite was of course Verdasco but he was not able to win the match after splitting sets.  Tomic just stayed positive and both played great tennis. At the end of the match Verdasco held on to Tomic at the net and whispered something in his ear…. Whatever it was, it made Tomic smile ear to ear.  6/7, 6/4, 6/4 Wonder how Tomic will do vs Muller?

Guccione/Sa vs Murray/Soares on court 1 was completely full. Interesting note three of the guys had Wilson racket bags except for Murray carrying his SOLINCO bag.  Very fast pace match – well the little bit they were able to play. Jamie Murray and Soares move extremely well; right after either player serves they move towards the net, hitting everything back quickly and making an almost impenetrable wall. Seems to be working…  1/0,

Young vs Bautista Agut finished the first set. With Bautista Agut up 6/4 the play was suspended. The rain had started at 5/4 and DY had 3 chances to take the point and make it 5/5 but just was not able.

Cilic/Draganja vs Isner./Matkowski 7/6, 0/0 neither team giving any points away. Cilic/Draganja just seem to have a better doubles game. Of course the big serves  from both Cilic and Isner help each of their teams… Wonder if tomorrow after some more rest for Isner if they take a set or the game…

Day 4 Final Scores:

Andy Murray d. Alijaz Bedene 6/3, 6/4

Raonic d. Vesely 7/5, 7/6

Muller d. Isner 3/6,7/6, 7/6

Tomic d. Verdasco 6/7, 6/4, 6/4

Bautista Agut vs Young 6/4, 0/0

Roger/Tecau vs Erlich/Fleming 6/2, 2/1

J. Murray/Soares vs Guccione/Sa 1/0

Cilic/Draganja vs Isner Matkowski 7/6, 0/0
