We All Woke up to the news that the Mercedes was in for a tune up. The ROLEX needed a service. Ok. Plain English.
Roger Federer had a probe (knife) put into his knee to fix a meniscus. Yikes. First time ever that the Mercedes /ROLEX needed to go into the shop.
We really hope that his recovery is speedy. We really hope that it’s as minor as they say. We really know this is a first for this fine tuned athlete. Yikes again.
Was he playing with the kids when he tweeked/twisted/tore it? Did he lift a suitcase the wrong way? What happened to the man of steel?
We will stay very positive. We really hope all was as simple as his statement below.
Sorry for our old buddy tourney director Richard Krajicek. It will definitely put a dent in his Rotterdam event.
Rogers statement Here:
I want to inform you that yesterday I underwent arthroscopic surgery on my knee. I injured my knee the day after the semi-finals in Australia. After getting tests done when I returned home, it was determined that I had torn my meniscus. I apologize to my friends in Rotterdam and Dubai, as I was very much looking forward to playing those events. While this is an unfortunate setback, I am encouraged and grateful that my doctor said the procedure was a success. I am looking forward to attacking the rehabilitation process this afternoon with my team and working hard to get back out on tour as soon as possible. Thanks for all your incredible support. I will check in with all of you soon.

Here we are in Chicago. What a great event. We've been to the WILSON factory daily. Love to see some of the great old frames we played with.
This was a tennis tournament.... Like no other. This was a U.S. Open like no other.. Let's start with new logo. It's click art like ours? But we aren't the USTA.
The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
What a start. First match in the new stadium and bye bye ladies number one seed and WTA World Number One. Simona Halep. Losing to Estonian Kaia Kanepi.
Wow. Where do we start. Forward. Backward. Sideways. I sound like a tennis player doing on court drills.
