MARIA SHARAPOVA FACES OFF AGAINST TENNIS STARS THIS WEEKEND ON TENNIS CHANNEL

 

Grand Slam Champions Andy Roddick and Michael Chang, Among Others, Join Sharapova for Celebrity Tournament and Event in

Los Angeles

 Tennis Channel will have exclusive, live coverage from the new Maria Sharapova and Friends event in Los Angeles this weekend, Dec. 12-13. The network will broadcast live on Saturday and Sunday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. ET (Eastern United States Time) each day, showcasing tennis stars of past and present.

 

Five-time major winner Sharapova will be joined by former World No. 1 Andy Roddick, French Open champion Michael Chang, rising American star Madison Keys, Jack Sock, Sloane Stephens and current World No. 8 Kei Nishikori. (Matchups are listed below.)

 

Following Sunday’s live coverage of the event, Tennis Channel will broadcast an encore presentation of Holding Serve with Maria Sharapova. In this rare 30 minute interview, Sharapova offers a candid look at her life and career with the challenges she faced in completing the career Grand Slam, coming back from injuries and her relationships off the court.
