HAPPY EASTER TO THE TENNIS PLAYERS AND VIEWERS AROUND THE GLOBE

 

This week the pros are in Houston, Charleston, Casablanca, Katowice, Raanana, LeGosier, SanLuis Potosi, Napoli, Leon, Batman(?), St.Brieuc ( yes, BATMAN in Turkey ). Other than Dudi Sela and Mathew Ebden we don’t know any of the other players .. Oh , and Michael Venus in the qualies.

For real how amazing that Spring has Sprung and it’s already CLAY TIME . Craig’s bags are packed he is on his way to ROME. Then comes everyone’s favorite the grass. Pancho is allergic but he does love London in June.

Enjoy the beauty of nature wherever you may be. Enjoy the day. Play tennis. Watch tennis. We know Serena is enjoying her Miami victory. We know the Bryan brothers and Bryan Clan are cherishing the win over the “poppies” like we said they need daylight to pick off volleys at the net.

Now onto the Asics Easterbowl :

 

We were at the Original launch party. (@Seenas in NYC) . One of our staffers played in the first one. One of our staffers ran “housing ” one of our staffers worked in NYC in Delrey Florida and Palm Springs , California. Call it loyal…. Seena Hamilton was a visionary. A woman that knew how to catch and keep a sponsor for a few years and to sell her demographics to the corporate world. She loved tennis it was her passion. She was a so so player and played with her head and drop shot and mouth. Oh that mouth. … Dropping sailor talk to twelve year olds…. And any one else within 20 feet. … But her passion pushed her and pushed her. She loved tennis. She worked hard. Maybe I was one of those helpers somewhere along the line….

Now onto the greatest guy around the Southland of California. Lorne Kuehle. He is one of a kind. A man whose entire life has also revolved around tennis for the pure love of the game. Lorne gave Bobby Riggs a lot of years of extra mileage. And has done the same for Francisco “PANCHO” SEGURA. Lorne sees to it that these guys can get around the worlds top pros and have a word with them. He let’s them enjoy being heroes of the sport. Tennis Gods.

So Lorne and his bestie Jackie Cooper jumped into this junior tennis thing. Seemed only right. They met in the juniors. Via housing. Lifelong Buddies Via Tennis.

 

We applaud Asics for their involvement. They make great running shoes and great tennis shoes. My guess is whatever Asics makes is great. ( No , we do not accept Shoes From Them )
