Seriously Its The HAPPY slam but asking miss Bouchard a Lady from Canada to twirl ? Really ? Even GLOBAL CHICK was shocked. Global Chick knew Gussy Moran well. They were known to share a martini or margarita together. That’s Gussy’s whole scene played out again. It made the cover of LIFE magazine. The design got Teddy Tinling kicked out of Wimbledon for years. Read all about Gussy on this site. We must have a dozen articles. It remains to be seen what will happen with #twirlgate .

Updates on friends , family and other misc players from around the grounds basically yesterday in Australia.

Cousin Max Mirnyi and Feliciano Lopez beat Danny Nestor and Bopanna 7-5,6-3. That’s a solid win. Max had played with Daniel in 2012. Daniel is like Leander he has had so many partners. Bravo maestro Max.

Cousin Artem SITAK has gone into the third round he and Ben Becker they beat Pospisil / Knowle 2-1 ret . Not sure why. ?

We all know by know that Roger Federer lost to Andreas Seppi. Roger is just plain worn out. Imagine he is like a Mercedes when you are low on gas a yellow warning light comes on. That indicates low on gas. Rogers been in the “yellow “for awhile. Some sleep. Rest. Family time. Solitude. Healing. Mind. Body. Spirit. Soul. He will still win a major this year or I’ll eat a ball.

Rafa was lucky to have an easy match with Dudi Sela. A tough third set.6-1,6-0,7-5. But a fairly routine match. He needed it after the battle with Tim Smyczek . And FYI Tim is a great player and a super guy. And he should win an ward for sportsmanship. Deb says she is still stressed from that match that she stayed up all night to watch.

Grigor and Marcus really had a battle. It really was a roller coaster. 4-6,6-3,3-6,6-3,6-3. That’s Dimitrov versus Baghdatis.

Maria Sharapova had an easy one too. She beat Zaria Diyas 6-1,6-1 (French fries) After the last match with a match point this was a relief. Big congrats. Where’s the Sugarpova ?
