FOUNDATION VISION

The Foundation’s goal is to provide the ultimate environment for a child to become their best in all areas of their life, including academics, athletics, interpersonal skills, leadership, and character development. We hope to arm children with a variety of ways to grow intellectually, emotionally, physically and in their relationships with themselves, their family members and others.

Our program is designed to go deeper into the subjects of life, excellence, success and the pursuit of happiness. In the end our long term goal is to help our youth to become professionals in life and to find peace of mind, so they can share this wisdom with their families, friends and communities as leaders and examples of extraordinary living and happiness.

FOUNDATION THANKS

We are proud to be a USTA NJTL and a chapter of the National Tennis Foundation. We are honored to be associated with the #1 doubles team in history as part of the Bryan Brothers Foundation through our renowned TEAM BRYAN program. Thanks to Windsong Trust, Wolfington Family Foundation, Taylor Family Foundation, Laurie Steed’s Granello Bakery, Neal and Nicole Tomlinson and many of our donors, we have been able to significantly impact the lives of some extraordinary young people.

Donor Spotlight:

Laurie Steed

Laurie Steed has been a supporter of the Foundation from day one and is always rallying support in the community for our organization and annual event. Laurie also supplies our tournaments, events and retreats with incredible assortments of food from her Granello Bakery. Laurie sponsors the annual Alumni Leadership Retreat, allowing 75 alumni and current players the opportunity to develop their leadership and mentoring skills during the 6 day retreat held at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas.

Child Spotlight:

Mario Arguayo

Mario Arguayo literally showed up at our doorstep 18 months ago from a small town in Mexico. He was so inspired from alumni Ed Ureta’s story on how he came from nothing from Chile and earned the opportunity to play college tennis after successfully completing the Foundation’s Leadership Program. Mario is currently a senior at Odyssey Charter High School and is looking to pursue a post-graduate year next Fall. He is training in the Full Time program at the NO QUIT Tennis Academy and is volunteering 5 hours per day by watching the shop, interning and teaching tennis to the younger children.

Alumni Spotlight:

Marvin Leo Pagayonan

Marvin entered the Foundation as a junior in high school. His grades were average and he struggled with his weight. In 3 years, Marvin lost 50 lbs and earned a scholarship to play tennis at The Citadel. Here is a video on Marvin’s story.
