Novak Djokovic has been named in Forbes Magazine’s 30 under 30 list of the Sports World’s Brightest Stars.
Forbes writes, “Twice voted ATP player of the year (2011 and 2012), Djokovic reclaimed his title as the world’s No. 1 tennis player in July 2014, surpassing rival Rafael Nadal.
“He’s already won seven Grand Slams, which is tied for eighth-most in the Open Era and includes four Australian Opens. Djokovic is also a seven-time Grand Slam runner-up.”
Real Madrid football star Cristiano Ronaldo and golfer Rickie Fowler also appear in the list.
Djokovic is making his 2015 ATP World Tour season debut this week in Doha at the Qatar ExxonMobil Open.
