Aloha and Mahalo. There’s nothing like the north shore of Oahu. Especially during the Triple crown. Or even better the “Eddie” … BIG Waves … This has always been a favorite pit stop on the way to Australia. Whether we are coming from east coast / west coast it just helps in length of flight and jet lag. That trip down under is really a wake up call. Its so far away. The jet lag is massive. Wake up calls is what you need. It’s been cold in Europe. It’s been cold and rainy and windy in California. Florida so so. Atlanta ? So it will be interesting to see the temperature adjustment for anyone who wasn’t training down under. The auzzies are expecting a hot tourney. A very hot tourney. Maybe not as hot as last year. But hot. Luckily the new heat index rule is in place. It’s not great. But it’s a start.

Heard from Paul Hanley. He is very happy living and coaching in Brisbane.

” Sugarpova” candy made its way into everyone’s stockings this Christmas. It was a big hit. Who doesn’t love it ? Ok. Maybe dentists.

Heard some grumbling again about the junior tourneys in North America. How cray cray to run such crummy events. If you can’t get it right why bother ?

I remember the old Orange Bowl @ Flamingo Park. It was so basic. So simple. So well planned out. First time I saw Borg was there. How can tennis events at the junior level be such a joke ?

The BIG BOSS was thrilled that the wine was enjoyed all these years later. What a x mas party ” GLOBAL CHICK ” had. It was beyond awesome. But then again others were serving some really yummy looking caviar. Next day they packed up for OZ. Seems like everyone’s on their way to oz. Instagram is filled either players packing up and heading out. Some off season… Some exciting tennis is coming our way in just a few weeks. Big congrats to Daria for qualifying and getting pass number one. Happy birthday to Milos Raonic. Tommy Hass shocked to see you skiing after spending a year rehabbing your body. Cilic and Tipsy both look to be out oz open? Grant Chen “Mr Los Angeles tennis ” took Grigor out to the beautiful Donald trump golf course. Grant UCLA needs you ! SCTA ? Tennis needs you ! Los Angeles is getting so strong in tennis again. Vince Spadea is the teaching pro to the stars. Lester Cook is always got something exciting going. Dusan Vemic just moved to town. The tennis channel is there. If you haven’t seen Vince’s gold hats. Check them out. They are great. Really first rate. Ryan sweeting making a comeback in 2015 ? Craig Cignarelli still the tennis master / maestro. And the guy always looking over the game in Los Angeles Trey Walkte. The celebs like Gavin Rossdale and Redfoo add to the positive vibes.

Time to go have a blue Hawaii or a Mai tai. It’s happy hour and sunset time. Don’t want to miss either. Might even see a green flash. Blow hole time.
