Three hours and 26 minutes–an outstanding marathon time even more serious, dedicated runners. Run that as a full-time, year-round professional athlete in a different sport and what you have on your hands is an absolutely incredible feat of athleticism.

That’s what Caroline Wozniacki accomplished on Sunday at the New York City Marathon, where she completed a 26.2-mile race for the first time in her life while recording an exact time of 3:26:33. For those counting, that’s an average mile pace of 7:53.

It also came barely a week after Wozniacki wrapped up her WTA season in Singapore. That’s where the Dane’s final match of a stellar 2014 on the tennis court came against Serena Williams (a thriller that ended in a third-set tiebreaker). And it was Serena, seemingly Wozniacki’s best friend on the women’s tour, who was there to greet the marathon finisher when she crossed the line.

The two had also palled around New York earlier in the week, including attendance at a Rangers hockey game on Saturday night.

Serena posted the following on Twitter afterward: “Is it normal to cry when someone finished marathon? So proud of you caro @CaroWozniacki #nycmarathon”.

Congratulations streamed in from other players, well:

Tomas Berdych: “well done caro #runner”

Saran Errani: “Amazing @CaroWozniacki !!!!! Che atleta ragazzi!!! Well done!!”

Ivan Ljubicic: “Great stuff! Well done”

Vera Zvonareva: “Congrats @CaroWozniacki for finishing the @nycmarathon !!! Great effort for a good cause!”

Petra Kvitova: “Congrats @CaroWozniacki for your amazing marathon run! Inspirational! #NYCM”

Bruno Soares: “Amazing job @CaroWozniacki , unreal effort. What an athlete. And all for a great cause. #inspiration”
