Legendary coach Nick Bollettieri is said to have led life with the intensity of a fifth set tiebreaker. In his new autobiography “Bollettieri: Changing the Game,” he tells all, from his humble beginnings in a suburb of New York to his triumphs on the center courts at Wimbledon, the French Open, the Australian Open and the US Open.

Mincing no words, he discusses his 10 world champions, 9 lives, 8 wives, 7 children, and all the successes and failures in between. His advice is inspirational, motivational and reaches far beyond the tennis court.

Considered by some to be one of the greatest tennis coaches of all time, Bollettieri founded the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida – now the IMG Academy – with a focus on intense physical training, total immersion and ongoing competition among the most talented players in the world.

Often controversial, he has helped shape the careers of Andre Agassi, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova, Jim Courier, Boris Becker, Monica Seles, Marcelo Rios, Jelena Jankovic, Anna Kournikova, Tommy Haas, Kei Nishikori, Sabine Lisicki and many others.

Written with Bob Davis, former CEO of the Ashe-Bollettieri “Cities” Tennis Program and an associate of Bollettieri‘s for more than 30 years, the book tells a high-spirited story of an innovator whose demands for excellence and achievement at all costs have impacted and changed lives throughout the world.
