ORDER OF PLAY

 

The order of play for this weekend’s U.S. vs. Great Britain Davis Cup by BNP Paribas First Round tie was determined at Thursday’s draw ceremony, hosted at The Prado at Balboa Park. Please note that Donald Young has replaced John Isner on the U.S. roster and Dominic Inglot has replaced Kyle Edmund on the Great Britain roster.

 

Emmy award-winning sportscaster Dick Enberg drew the names at Thursday’s draw. The opening day of play in the best-of-five match series features each country’s No. 1 singles player against the No. 2 player from the opposing country. The order of play for this weekend is as follows:

Friday, 11:00 a.m. Singles A: Andy Murray (GBR) v. Donald Young (USA)

Singles B: Sam Querrey (USA) v. James Ward (GBR)

Saturday, 12:00 p.m. Doubles: Bob Bryan/Mike Bryan (USA) v. Andy Murray/Colin Fleming (GBR)

Sunday, 11:00 a.m. Singles C: Andy Murray (GBR) v. Sam Querrey (USA)

Singles D: Donald Young (USA) v. James Ward (GBR)

*Team captains may substitute the doubles team up to one hour before the match.

 

WHERE TO WATCH

 

Tennis Channel will air live daily coverage. Friday’s singles matches will air live at 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT, Saturday’s doubles match will air at 3:00 p.m. ET/12:00 p.m. PT, and Sunday’s singles matches will air live at 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT.
