Novak Djokovic’s new deal with his watch sponsor Seiko is paying him about $1.36 million dollars per year, and that his new deal with the auto maker Peugeot is paying him nearly $4 million dollars per year.

Anyone who works in tennis knows you work around the clock. The late hours aren’t really great for anyone especially the players. Remember the Wimby that ended in the dark …you could barely see Roger. Every slam has its issues. But I think London’s rain and the delays are nothing compared to the oppressive heat of Melbourne.

We heard from Kirsten Flipkens she said she lost to the heat. We heard from Dusan who is bouncing back between Russia and Serbia. He said he’d take 115 over the minus 10 he is in ? Or 15. How radical. Global warming ? Dusan said he is not a penguin.

Great to see Sam wearing Fila. The clothes look awesome on him and actually fit. They are cutting the shirts long enough for him. Finally someone got it right. Bravo Martin Mulligan. Great to see the Bryan brothers win another award for all their charitable work. They are the hardest working dubs team in tennis.

Great to see all these old / new coaches. Great to see Wozniaki so happy . We don’t think there was ever a stealthier nov /dec in tennis that we can remember. Doubles Partner changes. Agents change. Coaches change. This is a year for the record books. These coaches. Almost all Hall Of Famers. Great for the sport. Great to see the relaunch of the Stan Smith shoes. Bravo Adidas for bringing back the best back in the day kicks. The tennis in Australia is seriously crazy. What will it take to change these Inhumane conditions. Even the worlds fittest athletes can’t perform when they are literally ” BAKING ” …. Fried tennis players and fans and the AO should be ashamed of themselves. Offering the brave loyal fans if they increase their already overpriced grounds pass for another 25 bucks they can sit in a stadium and roast. …not fan friendly. Greedy.
