The Southern California Open, a WTA Premier 700 tennis event which will be played at the La Costa Resort and Spa, July 27-August 4, has scheduled Tonic Ladies’ Day on Thursday, August 1, tournament officials announced today.

Ladies’ Day festivities will begin at 10 a.m. at the La Costa Resort and Spa with a one-hour Yoga session. At 11 a.m., attendees can watch the day’s tennis action on Stadium Court, followed by lunch in the afternoon. Tickets for Ladies Day are $100, which includes an Upper Box ticket and a Southern California Open tournament gift bag.

One of the highlights of Ladies’ Day will be a meet and greet session with future Tennis Hall of Famer Martina Hingis, who recently collaborated with Canadian-based Tonic Lifestyle Apparel to create her own signature tennis collection.

“Ladies’ Day will be a fun day for all attendees with all of the special activities we have planned,” said Tournament Director Alastair Garland. “Those attending Ladies’ Day will also have the unique opportunity to meet Martina Hingis, one of the all-time tennis legends.”

Tonic by Martina Hingis is the Official Clothing Partner of the Southern California Open, a major stop on the Emirates Airline US Open Series calendar. Hingis, a 15-time Grand Slam champion who will be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame on July 13, won singles titles at the La Costa Resort and Spa in 1997 and 1999.
