More than 200 hours of action from Mylan World TeamTennis, including over 70 hours of live coverage, will air on a combination of national and regional television networks and online this July.

The preview show, matches and highlight recap telecasts are expected to reach close to 200 million households worldwide, including the U.S., India, Africa, Russia, New Zealand, Europe and Southeast Asia.

Altitude, Comcast Sports Net, Madison Square Garden Network (MSG), Mediacom, Tennis Channel, and Time Warner Cable Sports will air five Mylan WTT matches this summer, starting with Venus Williams leading the defending champion Washington Kastles at home on July 9 against the Boston Lobsters. The Kastles have a 32-match win streak heading into the 2013 season, the second longest in major professional U.S. team sports.

Televised matches two and three will feature Springfield Lasers and Andy Roddick visiting the Philadelphia Freedoms on July 10 and then the Washington Kastles on July 11. In May 2013, Roddick and Venus Williams joined the World TeamTennis ownership group.

The top-ranked ATP doubles team Bob and Mike Bryan are showcased on July 20 as the newest Mylan WTT team Texas Wild hosts the Orange County Breakers at their new home in Irving, Texas. The Wild played for 20 seasons in Kansas City, Mo., before relocating earlier this year.

The WTT Finals, which takes place on July 28, rounds out the 5-match series in the home market of the Eastern Conference Champion.

Leif Shiras will be the host for all televised Mylan WTT matches, along with former doubles great Rennae Stubbs, who will provide color commentary. Harry Cicma will report from the sideline.

Mylan WTT will produce three 30-minute highlight shows this July recapping the best matches and moments of each week of the season. Highlight shows will premiere on July 17 on Tennis Channel and internationally.

In a prelude to the July season, the 2013 Mylan World TeamTennis preview show presented by Wilson will run this month. This 30-minute telecast will cover the eight team coed professional team tennis league. The show will air throughout June on Tennis Channel and regional sports networks. The preview show includes in-depth analysis of each franchise, complete with interviews, highlights and a look at key matchups heading into the July season; plus a review of the unique format, scoring and rules.

In the featured interviews, fans will hear from all the champions including Roddick on playing WTT at 17, Venus Williams on her greatest moment of 2012, Martina Hingis on playing for the Washington Kastles as they try to continue their historic winning streak on par with the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers and co-founder Billie Jean King on how it all began four decades ago. Interviews with Bob and Mike Bryan, John McEnroe, Mardy Fish, Leander Paes and many other stars are also included in the preview show. For a full list of Mylan WTT telecasts, visit www.WTT.com/TV.

In addition to the televised matches, WTT will live stream 21 matches on WTT.com beginning on opening night, July 7. The first match features the Philadelphia Freedoms on the road against Coco Vandeweghe and the Orange County Breakers, which airs at 5:00 p.m. Pacific.

The live stream matches can be viewed on WTT.com and TENNIS.com. A full list of WTT matches being streamed can be viewed at WTT.com/Live Schedule.

WTT.com will also air several matches that are headlined by multiple marquee players. On Monday, July 15 at 7 p.m. Eastern, Boston led by Mark Philippoussis hosts 2013 Hall of Fame inductee Martina Hingis in her first match for the Kastles. Sloane Stephens makes her fourth appearance of the season for the Freedoms, as they play host to the Breakers on July 19 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern.

The 38th season of World TeamTennis runs July 7-24, with more than 50 of the world’s best tennis players from 16 countries competing during the three-week regular season. Conference Championships are scheduled for Thursday, July 25, and the season concludes with the Mylan WTT Finals on Sunday, July 28 on the home court of the Eastern Conference Champion.

The Mylan WTT iPhone app returns this summer. Through the app, users can access scores, schedules, player rosters, team information, photos and tickets.
