Quotes Provided By The Boodles:

Tomas Berdych

“For me the movement on grass is the toughest thing. It’s much faster (too) and the ball doesn’t always bounce in the same place every time. It’s good that we have a couple of weeks to be ready for Wimbledon.”

Alexandr Dolgopolov

“I think it went great. We played some tennis; we had some fun and that’s the point of the event, to keep people happy. Wimbledon is a bit tougher than the other slams because I haven’t got past the second round. I’m pretty happy with the game right now. It’s getting back together.”

Sam Querrey

“I like the grass a lot. I’m comfortable out there. This is the perfect preparation. We both play at Queen’s last week and to come out here and get a few matches is excellent. As short as the grass court season is, the more you can play on it the better.”

Richard Gasquet

“It’s very nice to be here and practice, there is a lot of people in the crowd so there’s a great atmosphere and a great feeling to be here. I would like to come back here again. I like to play on grass and to play at Wimbledon. I’m feeling confident and I want to go far at Wimbledon.”

John Isner

“These tiebreakers and long matches seem to follow me, especially here in England and that was the case today. I feeling like I’m shaping up pretty well for Wimbledon. My goal is just to go out there, stay level headed and keep competing. It brings back good memories coming back to London. I feel like I’m getting better and better at playing on this surface.”

Santiago Giraldo

“It was a nice match. I was doing great today and it’s great preparation for Wimbledon. This is a nice place, nice people and nice courts. Everything is perfect. I’m feeling good on the grass.”
