The International Tennis Foundation announced that it has renewed its sponsorship agreements with the Johan Cruyff Foundation.
The new agreement for 2013-14 will see the foundation extending their involvement with the ITF by becoming a program partner for the Wheelchair Tennis Development Fund and the ITF’s wheelchair tennis junior programs.
The foundation, set up by Dutch soccer legend Johan Cruyff in 1997 with the aim of promoting youth sport, and with a special emphasis on disability sport, has been involved with the development fund since 2003, financing and supporting wheelchair programs in over 40 countries. From 2005 the Foundation also supported junior programs, helping to create wheelchair tennis training and competitive opportunities, including the Junior Masters at Les Petits As, and the Cruyff Foundation International Junior Ranking.
