Tommy Robredo all we can say is. Welcome back. He has been out of tennis more than two years. Injuries sidelined him. But he is back! This is the tourney for old Tommy’s . Yesterday it was 35 year old Tommy Haas. Today it’s 31 year old Tommy Robredo. For Robredo this is his third match in a row coming from 2sets down to win the match in five sets ! Wow ,now that’s something to talk about at the water cooler tomorrow. It would be 3 wins in a row from 2 sets down. Do you think he missed the sport ? The arena ? The fans ? The applause for his beautiful game? He moves beautifully he hits a beautiful one handed backhand he is nice to look at.

The Bryan twins. I guess if one has a beard they both have beards. The ” boys” are awesome beards and all. They are having an awesome year. They won Indian wells this year. It had been ten years since they held a match point there and hadn’t won. This year they are looking for the French. It’s been 10 years since they have won it. Good luck boys. Their goal this year is to make their number one lead the biggest and widest it’s ever been. They have over 12. Thousand points. The next guys down are at 5 thousand , 4,and 3. So it’s a huge lead that bob and mike have. That’s as individual points. As a team they have 6555 compared to Peya / Soares the number 2 team in the world are 2205. They will hold number one for a long long time. The boys are great ambassadors for the sport.

Did you see Bethanie Mattek -Sands. What a great tourney she has had and she hasn’t even played doubles yet. Beth is a great player, a great fighter , competitor. The “Lady Gaga ” of tennis. Sponsors jump on in there. Bethanie is a global walking,talking,playing billboard.

Tommy Robredo will always come to mind as the sweet guy that always stopped by to say hello to all the pretty babies in strollers. You knew then that the guy was different. Special. Now he has fundraisers for wheelchair tennis. Tommy we are so proud of you. The highest ranking número 5 in 2006. 2012 was the first year he finished outside of the top hundred. He was sidelined 5 months with a leg injury.
