Postcard from Paris - Roger Federer Stumbles and Still Wins   |

Roger Federer falls down. That like never happens. His foot got stuck in the clay . He  fell on his knee his hand and possibly tweaked his ankle and wrist. Yikes. I’m not making this up. It’s like a nightmare. Ok. I can deal with a loss. But to go out like this. After a stumble. What a pity. It’s hard  to imagine he didn’t call the trainer to the court. We know that Rogers entire career he has never not completed a match he started . That’s  totally amazing in his whole career he has not  retired once. He is already playing with a precarious back. We can tell he is wearing some kind of back under shirt  support ? Roger seemed to pull himself back together and found his balance and range.

Roger Federer beats Giles Simon 6-1,4-6,2-6,6-2,6-3 . Trust  me it was a nail biter. The match was closer than the scores indicate .
