Day 5 Miami Where to begin!

epa03636534 Christina McHale of the USA returns the ball to Roberta Vinci of Italy during their second round match at the Sony Open tennis tournament in Miami, Florida, USA, 22 March 2013. EPA/ERIK S. LESSER  |

Early start with a pit stop at wholefoods before heading to the site for the wamup with Christina McHale at 9 am in prep for her match with Roberta Vinci (on court coaching request due to absence of her coach Carlos from courtsense)! Unfortunately Christina lost but she has a lot of room to improve and she will!

After the match I headed over to see the last 15 min of Caroline’s practise session and finished up with hitting half court big 1 st. Serves to her(we started working on this since Australia and her returns are improving through experience )

After the hit we ha Sorana going on court but I needed to get some lunch otherwise I would have been stuck again with no food till 6! The 1set Sorana lost in less than half an hour! I ran over to court 8 to make sure I could support her for the 2nd and as it turned out for the 3rd which she won! Big fight of her whole team (with some key on court coaching by Darren Cahill) including Ayumi that came out to support!

We ended up watching Laura Robson (unfortunately she lost to Cornet) and also watched Ana Ivanovic who won her match 2 and 1 against an opponent that is getting better by the week Ursula Radwanska! However Ana was on top if her game!

Daniela has a tough match an finished just past midnight with a defeat against Errani who has one the most interesting service motions on tour!

Since we also had Daniela Hantuchova on the schedule as last match we stayed around all day! we experienced another rain delay and a total light outage at the tournament first only on crt2 but than all of the courts!

Now heading to bed and be ready for tomorrow!
