The 2nd day started with rain in Miami! Lat night we had rain stop play and the qualifying matches were finished around 1 am!

This morning I arrived at 8:35 and all of the courts were wet due to the morning rain on the island! Luckily Caroline had booked center court and it was fortunate to get the court cleaned by the pressure air blower (a gasoline operates machine that is used to blow leave away or any other material)

Since we had booked 1 and half hour we did not start until the court was totally dry! When we started we had 1 full hour if tennis and maximized the time with quality r quantity!

At 10:30 I ran over to court B where Ayumi Morita was warming up with Vania King for her match starting starting at 12! Last week Ayumi had been sick so she was excited to start the tournament her in Miami!

The 2nd hit with Caroline was at 1:30 for an hour and the warmup of Andrea was at 2:30! Both sessions I did not make because of the 3 hour long match Ayumi decided to play and win over Heather Watson after being down 2-6 1-4! With 7-5 in the 2nd and 6-4 Inge 3rd

Since Andrea Petkovic was playing another adidas player (who have worked with in the past Bojana Jovanovski ) I could not be present In the box or lend support! Andrea ended up winning in 2 straight sets!

The other story of one of our players is Timea Babos who must have been the unluckiest player of the week! She was 1 out if the maindraw and as it turned out also 1 out of the qualifying event! I have never heard of this but it is possible! Luckily she is at least in the doubles draw and look forward to see her compete this week!

Thiemo de Bakker qualified today and has put him back into the top hundred after this tournament which is a great effort on his on going fight to maximize his true potential

All I can say I am proud and happy to be at the Sony Open and look forward to a great tournament
