As the BNP Paribas Open approaches, reBounces, the company behind the Green Tennis Machine, continues to grow its presence across the west coast tennis community. The Green Tennis Machine is the patented, world’s first solution for putting the bounce back into old, lifeless tennis balls. Each month tennis instructors and facilities input 100,000 tennis balls into Green Tennis Machines across the country leading to improved tennis ball quality for teaching baskets and ball throwing machines. This reuse of tennis balls is also generating considerable cash savings while putting a dent in the carbon footprint of reBounces’ clients.

Recent additions to the reBounces’ already impressive California client list include UCLA, USC, Southern California Tennis Association, LA Tennis Club, Malibu Racquet Club, and CSU-Northridge. Additional west coast clients include the Bay Club San Francisco, Taylor Dent Tennis Academy and Arroyo Seco Racquet Club.

“We’re dedicated to growing the game in a sustainable way”, says Eric Korita, former ATP player and current VP of Sales for reBounces. “We want to see more people out playing and enjoying tennis which is great for all involved, including the rest of our tennis industry partners”.

reBounces recently announced the addition of two smaller-capacity machines to its product line targeted toward smaller tennis facilities including community colleges and high school programs. They have also just announced new purchasing options including stretching payments over 12 months with no interest and a $99 per month ‘Smart Buy’ program.

2013 marks the 5th year reBounces will partner with BNP Paribas and Indian Wells Tennis Garden at the 2013 BNP Paribas Open for the Tennis Ball Recycling Program. Anyone attending the BNP Paribas Open can bring six or more used tennis balls on either Saturday or Sunday of the event (March 9-10, 15-16) and will receive one new can of tennis balls. You can also view the technology that is forever changing the landscape of tennis and its environmental impact.
