Throughout the week, wtatennis.com has been revealing the WTA Player Awards voted for by the international media – first Comeback Player Of The Year Yaroslava Shvedova, then Newcomer Of The Year Laura Robson, then Doubles Team Of The Year Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci and Most Improved Player Sara Errani, and finally the big one, Player Of The Year Serena Williams. Today it’s time for the fans and players to be heard with the fifth and final wave of WTA Player Awards for 2012.

The Karen Krantzcke Sportsmanship Award, recognizing professionalism, attitude and sense of fair play, and the Player Service Award, which recognizes the player who has done the most to support fellow players through the WTA Players’ Council and other initiatives, are both voted for by the WTA players themselves, and two former No.1s won – the Karen Krantzcke Sportsmanship Award went to Kim Clijsters, the Player Service Award to Venus Williams.

Last but certainly not least, the Fan Favorite Awards – for seven days last week, 65,535 of your votes were cast in five award categories, and needless to say, Agnieszka Radwanska seems to be very popular – see below for the results:

~ Though there were 13 players to choose from, a whopping 42.8% of the votes went to Agnieszka Radwanska (Li Na came in second with 27.0%)

FAN FAVORITE DOUBLES TEAM

Serena Williams & Venus Williams

~ There were five teams to choose from and it was Serena Williams and Venus Williams who finished first with 36.0% of the votes (Maria Kirilenko and Nadia Petrova came in second place with 25.5% of the votes)

~ There were five Twitter pages to choose from and it was Caroline Wozniacki who finished first with 42.0% (Serena Williams came in second with 24.9%)

~ There were five Facebook pages to choose from and it was Agnieszka Radwanska who finished first with a whopping 46.5% of the votes (Maria Sharapova came in second place with 24.0% of the votes)

~ There were five videos to choose from and in the most dominant Fan Favorite victory of the day it was Agnieszka Radwanska’s battle with a bee that won, earning 48.7% of the vote (the Strong Is Beautiful ad was second with 20.8%)
