Seit heute ist es offiziell: Publikumsliebling Tommy Haas wird beim BET-AT-HOME CUP Kitzbühel 2012 (22. – 28. Juli 2012) aufschlagen. Die ehemalige Nr. 2 der Welt komplettiert damit das starke deutsche Spielerfeld. Neben Philipp Kohlschreiber und Florian Mayer will der 34-jährige Hamburger in Kitzbühel wichtige Punkte sammeln. Obwohl zeitgleich in der Wahlheimat Los Angeles die Farmers Classic ausgetragen werden, hat sich der bekennende Kitzbühel-Fan und zwölffache Titelgewinner für ein Antreten beim BET-AT-HOME CUP entschieden.
Tommy Haas feiert zurzeit sein Comeback auf der ATP World Tour und beweist exzellente Form. In Roland Garros erreichte er die dritte Runde und aktuell steht er beim Rasen-Turnier in Halle bereits im Achtelfinale. In Kitzbühel war der Deutsche mit österreichischen Wurzeln bisher erst einmal am Start, dennoch hat er zur Gamsstadt einen ganz besonderen Bezug.
