IRVINE, Calif. (April 4, 2012) – Season tickets and mini-plan ticket packages for the Orange Country Breakers 10th anniversary season are now on sale. Three-time Grand Slam Champion Lindsay Davenport leads the Breakers team that will debut at their new home at the Bren Events Center on the UC Irvine campus in Irvine, Calif., on Monday, July 9 against the 2011 WTT Champion Washington Kastles.

The Breakers will play 14 regular season matches between July 9 and 28, including seven home matches. Season tickets for the Breakers’ home matches range from $100 to $245 and are available at www.breakerstennis.com. Mini-plan packages, which offer tickets to three or four matches, range from $40 to $110.

In celebration of the Breakers’ 10th season in the WTT Pro League presented by GEICO, the team has added a special 10th Anniversary Family Package, which includes four seats for every home match along with access to a special team clinic, parking, food vouchers and a signed team poster. The Family Package is available in either Courtside or Upper Reserved seating.

The Breakers are bringing in some of the biggest names in tennis history to celebrate the team’s 10th anniversary season. Billie Jean King, Andre Agassi and Tracy Austin will be making special non-playing appearances during the Breakers 2012 season. King and Agassi will be at the July 23 match for Charity Awareness Night, while Austin will be part of the July 11 Military Appreciation Night when the Breakers host the Springfield Lasers.

Former world No. 8 Mark Philippoussis will be playing at the Bren when his Philadelphia Freedoms visit the Breakers for the final home match of the regular season.

Joining Davenport on the Breakers roster are Anna-Lena Groenefeld, an 11-time doubles titlist from Germany; Australian John-Patrick Smith, a recent four-time collegiate All-American who is now competing on the ATP Tour; and American doubles standout, 2009 US Open Mixed Doubles champion Travis Parrott. Coach Trevor Kronemann, who returns for his sixth season at the helm of the Breakers, is also head coach of the nationally-ranked men’s tennis team at UC Irvine.
