Koch Tavares said earlier this week the first three wild cards (invitations) for the Brazil Open – Bahia 2011. The Brazilian partnership formed by mining Gaucho Andre Sa and Franco Ferreiro, received an invitation to the key pairs. The Gaucho William Clezar will play a major key in both singles and young Alexandre Bahia Schnitman get the chance to play the qualifying.

Sa and Smith play in the first Sauipe ATP tournament together. The partnership, which began in 2009 and now has six titles challenger, search in the 2011 Brazil Open ATP title unheard of. “The expectation is huge. Surely, the Brazil Open this year will be one of the keys harder every year, mainly by the presence of the brothers Bryan and (Lukasz) Kubot and (Oliver) Marach. But we made some good tournaments in the year challengers past, we won some titles and we are ready to take a step forward, “he said Sa.

The experienced miner, who collects the mark of 28 doubles titles in challengers, has also been champion at Sauipe, Brazil Open 2008, alongside the miner Marcelo Melo.”It will be a special week. Brazil Open is a tournament we all love to play, we have a chance of being close to family and friends. Gaining an ATP title there would be perfect,” said Sa.

The ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) published a list of ten pairs confirmed so far for the Brazil Open, highlighting the presence of the Bryan brothers (double world No. 1 and five-times champions of the Australian Open), Lukasz Kubot / Oliver Marach (double Open champion from Brazil) and Marcelo Melo miners and Bruno Soares (Brazilian duo better placed in the world ranking, 78).

At the start of the Brazil Open, next week, ATP closes a second list, which will come more than four teams who are in Costa do Sauipe and sign the list and two wild cards (invitations).

The Gaucho Clezar William, 18, also lives in expectation of playing in his first ATP Brazil Open. The 18 year old came to prominence in 2009 when he reached the quarterfinals of Roland Garros in the key youth, and in the same tournament was the vice-championship doubles. Last year, reached the quarterfinals of the tournament’s juvenile Australian Open, losing to runner-up Sean Berman.

“I’m very happy to play the first ATP main key of my career at the Brazil Open. Sure will be a special weekend, a lot of experience, especially for his debut in Brazil. Thank you for the opportunity Koch Tavares,” said Clezar.

In order to encourage tennis Bahia, Koch Tavares offered an invitation for qualifying for the young Alexander Schnitman, 18. This will be the second time that Bahia will have the opportunity to play the biggest tennis event in Brazil in Costa do Sauipe.

The Brazil Open 2011 begins on Saturday, June 5, with the qualifying. The main key begins on Monday, April 7.
