New Haven Open at Yale and Market New Haven have promoted four staff members, Dana Cialfi, Eliza Folsom, Scott Kurlansky and Megan Axtell, it was announced today by New Haven Open at Yale Tournament Director and Market New Haven Chief Marketing Officer Anne Worcester.

•    Dana Cialfi, who has worked with the New Haven Open at Yale for seven years, has been promoted from Director of Marketing to the Tournament Manager position. She will continue in her role as Market New Haven Marketing Director.
•    Eliza Folsom, previously Sponsorship & Ticket Services Manager, is now New Haven Open at Yale Corporate Sales & Services Manager.

•    Megan Axtell, previously Sales & Marketing Coordinator, is now New Haven Open at Yale & Market New Haven Consumer Sales & Marketing Manager.

The four experienced staff members are a part of opening a new chapter in the tournament’s history as this past fall it was announced that going forward the event will be supported by four leading institutions in Cornerstone sponsors, Aetna, American Express, Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale University and will transition back to its roots as a women’s only tennis tournament in 2011. The tournament will be held August 19-27, 2011 at the Connecticut Tennis Center at Yale.

“Dana, Eliza, Scott and Megan have been critical components to the success of both New Haven Open at Yale and Market New Haven and are very deserving of these promotions,” said Worcester. “They all have unique talents, and consistently deliver. The future is very bright with all four of them playing key roles in both our organizations.”
