There’s no doubt about it, beer and tennis are a nice combination. Oops – tennis first, beer afterwards. I had that backwards. Maybe it’s that second Corona…? There’s really a great connection and I’m not saying it’s peanut butter and jelly (or for our Brits beans on toast)…but a better “fit” than Valspar paint. Don’t get us wrong, Valspar is great paint and a great friend of tennis, but I don’t see the demographic connection…
I’m loving the Tennis Channel coverage of the tennis coming from the O2 arena. How amazing that the players go by speedboat! Ferry boat. Tube . Car. What amazing options…10sballs.com has been hearing from all of our friends playing in the event about what a super time they are having and how well the event is being managed. If Charlotte Stone is still on site…that sounds like some of the brilliance of her organization skills.
10sballs.com is also loving being in London at such an exciting time with the upcoming nuptials of Prince William… We are looking at a copy of People magazine with Kate Middleton on the cover. When we got to page 73 and saw her carrying a tennis racket we were ecstatic! Yes. More royalty coming to Wimbledon…
In the same issue was a photo of Sir Elton John from his charity event in Washington DC on Nov 15. We covered it. We thank People mag…thank you. We are always so happy to see our sport crossover to the mainstream. But please give out more details; more coverage. It was a great event. It was filled with A-list celebrities. … Calling Kim Kardashian… Or Kris Jenner…let’s get you guys back into tennis…we’d get coverage!
