Esther. You are amazing. After looking over the draw it seems like most of your competitors are from Holland… You’ve had quite an influence on the sport—seeing you at 17 years old winning the US Open title in singles and dubs! But it was played in Irvine, California at the racket club, not in NYC… To coin an old tennis expression (Virginia Slims slogan) you’ve come a long way baby……
Awesome to see our Sven Groeneveld being made an ambassador by the International Tennis Federation. That’s a BIG HONOR (Honour for our Brits…) Where are you guys? El and Alix are accounted for… Oh we are blessed to have the crown jewels of tennis… We keep hearing about Chris and Ian, must be the upcoming nuptials. And Jamie Murray I’m sure Prince William won’t be tweeting or texting on his honeymoon…
The Super Senior event takes place in one of my favorite tennis spots and great longtime friend of tennis Dennis Van De Meer’s: Hilton Head. Other sites being used are Sea Pines and South Beach and Palmetto Dunes. The event proves tennis is a sport for a lifetime…age groups are 60 and over or 70 and over. It’s amazing. I will say they use really big rackets…at least most I’ve seen…Bravo.
Indian Wells, California. It was another flawless day. The excitement of the 2011 event can be felt worldwide. Steve Simon. Hopefully you can smile for two weeks!!
London. Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. It’s so awesome to see so many friends in the photos. Oh those lucky guys…another unreal experience. Today they met the British Prime Minister. Seeing some of 10sBalls.com’s friends…Max Mirnyi (Max “the beast” Mirnyi), the Bryan bro’s, Roger Federer. I don’t mean to be rude but I guess David Ferrer didn’t get the memo about the dark suits for the meeting with David Cameron?
Rafa looked dashing…and kind of more grown up. Thank you BARCLAYS!!!
