10sballs.com has been remiss, how can this be our fourth lob and no mention of the best thing that has happened to tennis since graphite rackets? No bigger since the open era. We tennis lovers have a channel. Wow! They really let those of us who don’t get to travel the world….travel the world. First rate commentating and camera work. I love the tennis channel so much, that since it’s first day i’ve had it on any and every TV in the house from the time I get up till I go to bed. Once I walked by and heard some “footwork ” and said to myself that’s Max Mirnyi. I turned back and sure enough it was Max….ok, I got lucky. Seriously, for real thanks to all the guardians of the game that make Tennis Channel exist. David you are the man!

I’ve been off the courts for a few weeks do to a lame foot injury, so I totally have been enjoying Dmitry Tursunov’s recent tweets or blog. “The best anti-inflammatory – coca cola, chocolate, stuffed croissant ,and a fat bacon slice sandwich with French fries “. Love that guys game. Wish he could win a slam before he is done. Also a shout out to Dusan Vemic. Man you are so damn good. Hang in there, and if you haven’t seen either guy play please keep your eyes out — Google or YouTube them. They are Awesome players and awesome guys.

A very special cheers to 10sballs.com special friend “Bally” Elena Baltacha. She is one of the finest sportswoman and role models on earth. Bravo dear Elena. We are so proud of all your achievements on and off of the courts. Glad to see your story.

My thought for today, play more tennis. It’s a great stress buster in the crazy world we all share. Hi to all my road warrior buddies. Hang in there. Season is almost over. Fight hard for every point. Special shout out to Thomas Shubert playing in the big apple at the BIK Tennis Center representing BYU.

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
