Five-time Grand Slam singles champion Maria Sharapova is returning for her eighth season of World TeamTennis this July
Americans Ryan Harrison of the San Diego Aviators and Nicole Gibbs of the Orange County Breakers were named recipients of the Mylan World TeamTennis MVP awards presented by Forevermark, based on their performance during the 2016 regular season.
After Wednesday’s results, both the New York Empire and Springfield Lasers have been eliminated from post-season contention.
