Wow!! I think I have just seen the future of men's pro tennis. At least the dawning of the next great star. And he is bursting on the scene like a supernova.
It's been 8 months since I picked Jerzy Janowicz as the future of men's pro tennis and the next great star.
There was a time when I could enjoy your ghost-like float across the soft lawns. I’d be with you every step, relishing in your elegant glide as you sped atop the grassy blades on your way to an explosion of power and feel.
Today the rain stopped play for a few hours and as the court crew was having a chat and on standby to cover the courts I was witnessing something that I have not seen all week!
Why can not all grand slams have a tennis free Sunday? It is a must because it also creates so many great matches at one time and for all spectators to have at least a chance to see some great tennis!
The Mid Sunday is the best ever what a grand slam can offer! I believe we have a privilege of Having a full day of no competition!
This is day 6 and it was an absolute 10! This day is the best day of the championships!
OK. Here's a quick post card. We know Wimbledon is Wimbledon.
“Coach, I have a favor to ask.” “ Yes?” Dawn caresses the Pacific horizon. An orange light ascends into a cerulean sky. Above the sands, faint sounds of waking seagulls repeat. I am standing mid-tennis court, 350-count ball basket situated off my left hip, its rusted metal legs suffering beneath the morning mist, its wobbly wheels fighting for supremacy.
Rain stopped play yesterday and today play was prevented from starting on the outside courts not until around 2 pm! However on center court the Roof was on and play started on time!
The day started with Sun and ended with Rain!
Day 3 was even longer than day 2 and even harder for most tennis fans to grasp what happened today!
Day 2 started the same way as it did yesterday! However except for one big difference! The sun was out and the temperature was much higher than yesterday!
Spending the day with a maybe " Lucky Loser " and a real first round loser. There will be 64 real first round losers.
WoW What a day it is 11 pm and I just finished my day! One of the better things of Wimbledon is the planning of our practise schedule!
