I thought it was worth taking some time out this morning to reflect on Andy Murray’s opening gambit against Mardy Fish, who will be rounding out his career on his own terms.

With all the talk about nerves, and (perhaps even more disrespectfully) how Muguruza was just happy to be there, it was perhaps a stark reminder that even the great and the good get the jitters.
Today was going to be all about the men – as the mighty ATP warriors made their bid for a place in the Wimbledon final...
