We sure wish we were celebrating with you !

 

We know you are surrounded by loved ones and lots of little Federer’s. You finally get to celebrate your birthday at home instead of eating a cake on court in Canada. Not that it wasn’t a kind and thoughtful gesture. But nothing is better than your new home and beautiful family. Best wishes always your friends here at 10sBalls.

 

We applaud your decision and choice to rest up and get ready to be fresh and strong of mind and body and spirit to face the “Beast” (no, not Max Mirnyi your old dubs partner ) The Beast of the U.S.Open HARD court series.

It could be renamed the tennis played all night series if Washington, D.C. was part of it. ( most nights this week they finished at 1,2,3 in the morning…. Middle of the night )

 

Or you can call it the muggy, humid, hot, sticky, series…..Or you could call it the …I’ll sit in traffic 90/120 minutes a day series. ( subways anyone, then we’d call it the subway series…)

 

Tennis in the summer whether it’s in Australia in January or Wimbledon in June or in New York in August is going to be brutally hot. It always is.

 

Robert and Lynette Federer created the best tennis player in the history of the game. They are super tennis parents. They also keep a very watchful eye on the Roger Federer Foundation. Robbie himself personally edits and puts together the great Roger Federer calendar yearly now for 15 years. Lynette looks after everything. She keeps all the sponsors informed of the annual activities. Roger is just back from a trip to Malawi.

 

Nothing could make all the Roger Federer fans worldwide happier than his winning the 2015 U.S. Open.
