After claiming six ATP World Tour titles and compiling a 63-11 record last year, defending champion Roger Federer will start his season in Brisbane for a third consecutive year.
Novak Djokovic. Rafael Nadal. Roger Federer. Stan Wawrinka. Tomas Berdych. David Ferrer. Kei Nishikori.... And that's just to single out a few.
It won't bring any ranking points. It will, though, bring an additional $250,000 to Rafael Nadal's bank account. But most importantly, this week's action at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship will give Nadal additional confidence heading into the 2016 ATP World Tour season.
Novak Djokovic is not quite dominant enough to make predictions for the 2016 Grand Slams uninteresting. As Roger Federer--and a few others; but mainly Federer--proved in 2015, Djokovic can be tested on a consistent basis and beaten on occasion.
The Twelve Grapes to the chimes of the clock at midnight on New Years Eve has been a Spanish tradition since 1909. In December that year, some vine growers from the Alicante area came up with "The 12 Grapes" as an idea to sell huge amounts of grapes from an excellent harvest.

It was another long and interesting year on the ATP World Tour in 2015. And I was lucky enough to catch at least a small portion of it in person, mainly in the United States but also abroad--to cap off the season in style at the World Tour Finals.
