Final Quotes

Stosur: “This is obviously a huge boost for me. I haven’t had great results all year really, so to be able to bounce back, especially from last week’s first round loss, and play better and better each day, it’s really exciting and a good boost going into the last Grand Slam tournament of the year.”

Azarenka: “I think the statistics really said I didn’t take my chances – but on the other hand, she was serving really well today. I just felt like I was fighting and trying to do the same thing that wasn’t working today. I kept doing the same idea, and that wasn’t very smart for me to do out there. I have to give her credit though. She played a great match today – there’s no doubt about that.”
