Lovey and Pancho reporting live from London. We are pleased to share with you the trip of our dreams. We finally are over our jet lag. It took us about five to seven days. It seemed forever. The whole time we imagined the life of all the pro tennis players. Expected to perform at the highest level with jet lag. Unreal lives our gypsy friends live. Pancho had a good taste of cramped conditions as well as lost luggage. My heart goes out to Shahar Peer seems like more than two tourneys this year minus her suitcases. I joked and said she should tip better.
Our time spent at the Queens Club was one of the most amazing weeks. Tourney director Chris Kermode and his fantastic team met “mother natures” adversity with the most amazing charm, wit , kindness, thoughtfulness, fairness, flexibility, I guess I could keep going but It won’t stop … but it’s was just amazing. At every twist and turn they were resourceful and still kind and always with a warm smile every time they had to explain the latest plan.
The icing on the cake was the fundraiser for the Royal Marsden Hospital and for great guy Ross Hutchins. What a great event. Queens Club is my favorite on earth. Special thanks to Hilary, Charlotte Stone and Xavier Malisse. (that ever so close Delpo match )
Double congrats to Andy Murray. Big congrats to Andy for winning the title at Queens ! Bigger congratulations to great humanitarian Andy Murray donated his entire prize money check of 72,000.00 pounds to the charity !!
