There may be repercussions as WTA tennis elites Maria Sharapova and Caroline Wozniacki stop off in South Korea to top up their bank balances with a quick-hit exhibition three days after Christmas.
The pair got in the mood this week in Sao Paulo as they played the understudy roles in Roger Federer’s massive Gillette exhibition in Brazil . During their time on court, four-time Grand Slam winner Sharapova and former No. 1 Wozniacki got to dancing with the event mascot, with Wozniacki dragging a reluctant Shazza into the spotlight in front of thousands of cheering fans.
It wasn’t the first time Sharapova has showed a move in public . She also featured last autumn in a video produced in part by British teenaged talent Laura Robson during the Asian swing.
The Asian hit-and-and giggle will mark the return of Wozniacki to the scene of her title in the capital this season. The pair will then hit the WTA circuit, starting their pre-Australian Open preparation in Brisbane.
