Sam Stosur and Andy Roddick stepped up…offered donations for aces served. 10sballs.com is proud of you. But where’s everyone else? Where’s a charity match or a day planned? Australian open…wake up! Good time to start planning it now.

Indian Wells BNP Paribas pulled off a hit with Haiti. In 2010, Bob Kramer’s Los Angeles Farmer’s Classic did a charity night and raised and a half mil…and the tourney hadn’t even started officially!

Speaking of Bobby Kramer. Big applauds…for the 2011 event held on the beautiful UCLA campus. The box holders were given a reprieve from a Jan payment and have till May to pay. It’s a really nice and thoughtful gesture in tough economic times…

I have a message to all tourney directors. Reduce ticket prices. They are all too high. And give a kids and senior super discounts. Players love full stadiums.

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
