It feels like “Christmas Eve.” It feels surreal… It’s been an amazing WIMBLEDON. It’s been filled with sunshine and surprises. It’s been a magic carpet ride. It’s almost over.

But we have one more BIG match to be played. Yup. The mighty Federer is playing in the finals against the new Mr. Bounce, Bounce ,Bounce…

Yes. There’s a new one. That’s Marin Cilic. Now we have been watching him very very closely for weeks now…

He can put on the face of a BULL about to charge – Like a really angry BULL whose nostrils flare and swell and his eyes get mean. Yup. He Beats Rafa’s best BULL any day.

Or you get the affable and easy going nice guy. Boy, he was about as fair and gracious loser to Feliciano Lopez at Queens Club final as we’ve ever seen.

So most of us in London are already asleep…. Dreaming of grass courts. Pimm’s. Strawberries and a Roger Federer Performance for the ages.

Who isn’t waiting to see what brilliance Roger has saved for the BiG match on his favorite court in the world….

That’s the center court at WIMBLEDON… We will be there.

We aren’t a full team anymore. But the blessed ones will be there. Maybe that hat Roy (treasured gem) slipped me will be obsolete…

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
